Is this relatable? Use apt https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/ubuntu-lts-debian-linux-apt-command-examples/ instead of apt-get. Less typing. But, for scripting need stick with the apt-get ;)

@nixCraft I don't know. I had a pretty interesting experience a while back where an older system stopped working entirely with apt-get but worked fine with apt. It was like they handled databases differently and apt handled the newer stuff more correctly or something because apt-get couldn't do any upgrades anymore on that system.
