You got something wrong there. Russia did not "invade" Crimea in 2014, there was a coup in Kiev and the people who voted for the ousted president mostly the southeast incl. Crimea) didn't like it one bit and decided to rebel. Eventually they had a referendum to join Russia instead.
That is nothing nukes could have prevented in any way.
Also, Ukraine could not have afforded to keep those nukes operational anyway, these things are pretty expensive to maintain.
