@BeAware There’s just this level of arrogance involved in the idea that someone’s feed should immediately be appealing to them, without them having to do anything to make it that way.

I’ve had to mute a lot of topics. I’ve had to mute and or block people that made my feed terrible.

And also, telling people how to post is, in itself, arrogant. As if they’re the arbiter of the fediverse.
