Jess👾There's ABSOLUTELY a mechanism for Congress to intervene. It's called impeachment and removal. Or at least pass a law and override the inevitable veto. But so long as Trump has at least 33 Senators on his side, then it literally doesn't matter. Apparently the Constitution writers simply didn't conceive of a government where even just 1/3 of Congress simply decided not to bother checking the power of the Executive branch.
