HarriettMB@Jennifer @thebeeguy If you think Musk is going to allow free and fair elections in two years time, you are deluded. Trump stated before being elected that voting for him would mean people never have to vote again. I do not believe he was lying at all. Musk’s people in DOGE are in all the computing systems - any ‘election’ will be similar to Putin or Kim John Un holding one - a 98% turnout who all vote for the same candidate. None of the people selected by Trump to run various departments are bothered about democracy in the slightest. Neither are any of the billionaire backers of this. Law, democracy and rules are over; congress and senate are irellevant as he’s bypassing all that with business done by Executive Order. And some ‘Democrats’ are voting for the completely unfit candidates he’s putting in charge of departments.
