I don't agree with this "war" rheotoric. On the surface USA and China are in a competition in the area of AI tech. But AI will eventually become as mundane as databases. We are just dazed by the pace of the evolution in this space: Google & OpenAI's models already feel like the expensive IBM mainframe db IMS whereas DeepSeek is the cheap MS Access.
