You're still running random code. Apple doesn't check the code you sign with a developer key, unless you submit it to their store.

It's kind sad you think that running signed code protects you in any way. You need to trust the developer, not Apple. You'd get just as much protection if Apple allowed you an easy way to install that dev or company's self-signed cert.
