Ian Betteridge@mkoek There is always something to be said for giving people hope. It has to be realistic and grounded, but oddly enough like all animals people get paralysed by hopelessness. Or, and this is worse, drift into ideologies which offer simple solutions based on personal action and having an enemy to blame (radical religions, the far right).
