    I have a genuine question:
    I've read a commentary a long time ago that essentially said that Laban's deceit toward Jacob was a kind of punishment from God for Jacob's deceit toward Isaac, even though this not stated in the text itself of expounded post-hoc in the Prophets or Apostles. Do you agree with that commentator?
