@jeffcliff It is the massive population density living here along the Cali coast, an edge of the world overlooking the Pacific...it has all been built out so crazy, I've lived in coastal socal since 1996.

There used to be ranches, large open plant nursery areas, or simply patches of open land with trees...all that is gone now for more McMansion monstrosities or apartment complexes.

Some tract home projects, a person can literally jump from rooftop to rooftop. It was poor city planning to allow such communities to be built.
