They did apparently create Postscript in 1982, and Postscript is cool, and they produced Illustrator in 1985 (I have never used it but people like it) and everything else has been acquisitions, like Google, which has just AI-poisoned the only product they ever developed in-house. Google Maps and GMail were acquisitions, Vimeo, Google Docs was a fork of Google Wave, an acquisition, but apparently there are people on fedi that don't remember Youtube acquisition and don't realize Android was an acquisition. That makes me wonder how many companies are just these hollow acquirers with a flagship product that people think they developed in-house.
