@KingOfWhiteAmerica @JRamsey @MeBigbrain I don't know. I give the benefit of the doubt to him as a boomer who lived through or at least took a lifelong interest in the collapse of the ethnic blocks. The points he makes about that in Slaughter of Cities are actually really solid. His position could very well be a failure of the is/ought distinction, but it's misguided IMO because we're never getting that back.
