I'l just reiterate about selecting - talk to people you know who have tattoos in style you like. look at tattooer instagram (unfortunately they're all there) - see what other tattooers artists you like follow. visit shops if you can, see if people whose style you like will do consult so that you can see if you like their personality and feel comfortable giving them feedback.
