IIRC it was a mini-"Microplay", which they owned the brand to at some point. Honestly, it was a really, really nice store at the time, a seriously nice hybrid. Of course, they didn't have everything, but they could order it for you
Came at a time when most mom and pop video game stores died, but buying online was not quite popular/there yet and video rental was still far from dead. This was also genius for the small nowhere suburbia corner I lived in that had very little in term of stores and proper stores were 1h or so away, as it filled a bunch of niches at the same time
