Tris Kerslake@piggo @david I think I'd be quite alarmed to find something like that. I am pathologically conditioned to turning things off when not in use. My father used to be a lighthouse keeper back in the UK and I remember him going around switching everything off when his watch was over. Those were the days of paraffin lights and oil burners.
