I'm not a book reviewer, but I have to say I do like "The Wax Pack" by Brad Balukjian. He travels the country in a rushed trip to interview several former professional #baseball players whose baseball cards were in an old package. He doesn't just talk about playing skills or statistics, but about what was going on in their lives. For me, that's a different perspective on these guys.

Growing up in #SoCal as a #LADodgers fan, I was particularly interested in the interview with Steve Yeager, which is one of the less detailed but still engaging.

It's not deep, and it isn't engulfed with the current sociopolitical issues. But it turns out that those things are absolutely not of interest to me.
