A little murmur this morning about how Halloween will fall on GAME 6 of the World Series with the Blue Jays vs Dodgers interrupting trick-or-treating for some.

I think a lot of people forgot that last year, Halloween fell on the first (or 2nd) day of Diwali. We had kids running house-to-house in costumes getting candy, relatives wearing their finest Indian celebration clothes visiting and offering blessings, we even had fireworks at night!

4.1% of Ontario's popuation, (500,000+ people) are Hindu and celebrate Diwali. So it's not the first time Halloween falls on a special day. Maybe some people need to get out and start recognizing other cultures exist eh?
