North Korea is isolationist because practically every country on the planet is against them. One of the only reasons North Korea is one of the only ML countries that's had to change the least is because of its isolationist tactics. It's a defensive strategy to preserve their existence and protect themselves from capitalist intervention. There isn't anything anti-Marxist about cutting yourself off from a world that wants you to not exist. 1/
