Rocketman@sarajw @timbray @DavidDarnes I’m wondering what activities the term “design engineer” might encompass that aren’t core elements either of design or engineering.
If the term is merely meant to describe a focus on e.g. usability / meeting user needs, then it does make some sense (as in: an engineer who considers user needs as high priority requirements).
