I cannot count the number of times in meetings a lady says something and then someone else, typically a guy due to statistics, will essentially bring up the exact same thing in that meeting or later. A lot of times I don't think it's meant to be malicious, I think sometimes they didn't fully understand the implications at the moment or they are repeating it in a way that makes more sense to them. Simply addressing, "That is what she said earlier." Invites vs excludes the originator (Lady) back into the conversation, sets the expectation that we count her previous words as contribution, and helps set the norm for that we should provide credit when we pick up other's ideas. In good teams this changes the dynamic pretty quickly and helps a sister not have to come off as, "I told you so." Because someone else said, "she told you so."
I think the dynamics get s little different on social media, but the above works in a day to day scope.
