@jeffcliff It seems like about 40k people die by car accident in the US every year, which is about 8.3k per 2.5 months.
So, COVID still kills somewhat more people than car accidents. Perhaps up to 2x as many.

To me it doesn't seem that scary tbh. For someone of my age (~30), driving a car seems much more dangerous.
