- Embed this notice@MediaActivist If Linda thought she had a degree in education could me a couple of things: (1.) She's getting senile in her old age and doesn't remember shit; (2.) He degree in French is so long ago that she coudl use that degree to teach French (what else does one do with a degree in French?) so it might well have been called a French Education degree if she got it in 2024, (3.) she meant to lie. From what I know of Linda I suspect the last is the least likely. I wouldn't expect anyone who has a history in government education, like a teacher, princple etc., would be on board with shaking up the status quoe at all, so if you want to defund the department of education you wouldn't want to hire someone with such a history as your man. The thing is, if you really want to defund government education, getting rid of the department of educatoin doesn't actually do that. I for one believe in eliminating government education. I would much rather workers teach what is actually needed thmeselves, run democaratically with the students, etc., but the Republican plan only re-arranges the deck chairs. They actually don't cut any funding to the crappy government school down the street, they are just changing the fudning mechanisms for how they get there, and they've got liberals all up in arms about it.
