@deprecated_ii yes the rule exists precisely because some shitbag in the USA will hire Indians every single time instead of Americans but this policy turns out to have a cost so expect pushback. As far as the rest, I mean just look around. There absolutely is entitlement and anti intellectualism. I’m not even arguing against protectionism for American kids I’m just pointing out the simple fact that your protected businesses will lose competitively.
