I just noticed cornbread appears to have an injury on his leg. Also squishing the place where his paw connects to his leg (I don't think that's technically the ankle) seems to be a little tender and swollen. This sore is a little further up. It doesn't look all that bad. However I'm worried it might be a snake bite. It may also be an infection or possibly both.

Does anybody know? Should I just ride out the weekend and decide if he needs to go to the vet on Monday? It's currently raining so taking him to the vet now would require carrying him for about a mile in the rain. Doable but I'd rather avoid it unless necessary for both our sakes.

His foot is definitely swollen tho.
