Rich Felker@paul @nixCraft Google didn't "get its codebase from Chromium". Chromium is just their name for the source code when it's not built with Google Chrome branding. They made and control it all and nobody else understands it well enough to make a fork that can avoid copying every major policy decision Google makes for it.
