@sun yeah but supporting emulation suuuuucks. individually tuning the emulator per game is not something a company wants to spend resources on. especially when the player count will be in single digits day 1 unless they pour advertising dollars into it.
the only reason for emulators to exist, is to preserve a way to play the games. first party emulation is NOT preservation, it is exploitation. the best thing to do is keep preservation illegal so motivated hackers will continue to work on it.
