@botvolution i don't even care about the performance, per se. but as the character is written? racist nonsense. plus he's a fuckin dunce. his maquis crew was mostly *not* maquis (tuvok, seska, and suder was a literal psychopath). he makes the worst, *obviously* bad decisions.
the show as a whole (so far) feels like repeated interesting setups or concepts, ultimately followed by melodramatic plotline nonsense that diminishes the whole affair.
