    @cwebber@social.coop even if you could magically make a hole in the wall and have it guarded by Snackwell's demon, Signal is open source. What's to stop anyone from literally adding // here is the FBI backdoor around the relevant lines of code.

    Not that it wouldn't be totally suspicious if a bunch of new code was added with no explanation or anything, either.
