@MichaelPorter @DavidM_yeg @stephanie While I'm sure there are exceptions, in general anesthesiologists are creeps and scammers. Not keeping patients sedated too long, but charging astronomically too much per hour, and doing slimy stuff like being out-of-network (usually by their choice, because they won't accept fair rates) but partnering with in-network docs, and springing surprise bills on patients.

Solution of course is not to punish the patients but to reign in this bullshit.
