no servers, fully P2P, no intermediaries, strong encryption, all makes it hard to block and somewhat safe to use.  runs on the most popular operating systems, and it's entirely auditable free software<br><br>
in a perfect world, it would be possible to make it work on top of Tor as well, but I don't think that is possible ATM.
