Flu vaccines existed 10 years go. I was living with immune compromised people ~10 years ago and got vaccinated against the flu for the first time around then, even.

"Immune systems" are one layer of defense against diseases like the flu. And plenty of people died, then and now, from flu. Many of whom would be saved if they were vaccinated.

"critical thinking" leads to the use of vaccines very quickly if you bother to actually use it.
