Who's in charge of it now? There's no distributist squad running around and redistributing wealth. What if we changed the tax code so that corporations could distribute equity (stock ownership) to each of their employees (weighted median wage and below receive the lion's share) and offset their tax bill by $2 for every $1 of stock they gifted employees? How much better would that make the world for the workers? It's still optional, and it pleases the capitalist by being an effective halving of their tax rate.
