- Embed this notice@k @d3n @sun so what? The point is that twitter is a censorship machine that has a history of targeting *both* left *and* right when it suits it. It was true in 2016 it was true in 2019 when I got cut, and it's true today. Twitter *has* changed the incentives to encourage the kind of hostility we see there of course, and the left has been mostly left out of that particular grift scheme.

Because *threats are a part of how political differences are sorted out* when other forms of resolving difference of opinion break down. You aren't going to get rid of threats any more than you're going to be able to get rid of hatred (especially when palestinians *and* israelis still coexist) or people not being OK with other people trying to have sex with them. It's part of how people protect themselves from eachother.
And the fact that the platform tries to play god and decide who gets to threaten who and when *is* the problem
