@sun @arcana @7666 God commands to be a reasonable and good person and not one that lies to himself, and then once you have that kind of brain you follow reason applied to each situation, there is plenty of contradiction in the Bible. There is no clear written rule that you just follow literally.

Even “You shall not murder” leaves up to you to decide whether killing a specific person in a specific situation is murder or not.

Obviously you don’t have to provide shelter to any human that happens to walk by.
