5'10 is the average non-nordic male height i believe. Unless you're a true Briton like @Dan_Hulson then it is 5'7 (Dan is perfect). I have no idea why people portray Napoleon as "short". he was almost certainly above average for his time (at least partly due to being over nourished compared to average).
