Stitch26@nightstitching @thegiddystitcher It would definitely take longer, but you can hand piece scraps into a small quilt design and use it for a mug rug, a placemat, an accent piece on a table, etc. Certain batting are also made to resist heat, so you could make potholders. Quilted Christmas ornaments are really pretty too. Not all quilted projects have to be large to be pretty and/or practical.
