   @thegiddystitcher Do it so I can live vicariously through you 😅 I can't possibly take on another craft and I don't have a sewing machine, but dang, those quilt designs on Etsy are so tempting.

     Some projects don't even require batting. And some don't require piecing anything at all. I started learning to quilt when my mom taught me to stencil. So one of my first projects was to hand quilt around a stenciled angel. Projects don't have to be large, expensive *or* complicated; you just have to enjoy what you're doing as you do it and get creative! 😄

     @nightstitching @thegiddystitcher It would definitely take longer, but you can hand piece scraps into a small quilt design and use it for a mug rug, a placemat, an accent piece on a table, etc. Certain batting are also made to resist heat, so you could make potholders. Quilted Christmas ornaments are really pretty too. Not all quilted projects have to be large to be pretty and/or practical.

     @Stitch26 @thegiddystitcher oh dear, oh dear, why would you say that 😩 I don't have enough hours in a day! (I'm definitely NOT staring wistfully at the box of English paper piecing hexagons in my craft room... 🥺)

     @Stitch26 Indeed, the enabling is the best Hahaha in currently starting to learn bobbin lacemaking and that is lovely, but oh I wanna do all the complicated projects. They're so gorgeous!
