That the planet is going to burn, that society is going to be a Bladerunner hellscape, that nothing is really every going to get better. What they're supporting now is a hierarchy they believe will allow them to to retain power, and privilege over the ash heap and offload the worst of the suffering onto the people they hate. It's nihilist and hierarchal.
