AnthonyJK-AdminI'm willing to accept the view that while a majority of Democrats do want to beat the Republicans and rule at least as "sensible centrists", there is a large and powerful elite sector, reinforced by the larger institutional forces and the inertia of our privatized and monetized political system, which is inclined to serve as a block to any attempt to break their right-wing consensus rule with the Republicans. It just so happens that they now run the party.
