@freemo All good. Really. People get all this from paid services too.

As for pure-practicalities of moving I would have moved this year if it wasn't for Mastodon not able to move posts and so believe me I thought about it and posted about it and waited for search to do more about it and that just made it that bit harder to find even what I was looking for....

So not deliberate lock in but Mastodon's lack of real offline view and deleting account = deleting posts, does feel like a lock in for sure.

Let's just see how it goes for now...
