Demian@aud I have a friend pushing the idea of splitting the country in two because of the irreconcilable differences. Besides being politically and logistically impossible, we can't, as you say, write off red states. There will always be large populations in them who will bear the brunt. I don't blame these people for moving or wanting to move out of these places, but they can't all leave (nor should they have to). Moreover, fascists will invent new scapegoats.
