That's actually a fair point about female social aggression - if you successfully establish a pecking order, you have established the queue for who gets cut off from resources.

This happens a lot in extreme survival events - usually some form of rift occurs in the group and a certain number are cut off from the remaining food/supplies. They of course die first and are often eaten by the winning group.
