Hm, I think the election is about racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, and various other things rolled up in fascism vs. non-fascism

Racism is definitely a core foundation to the fascism, but homophobia and transphobia has been a super overt part of it. And the fact that Kamala is a woman (in addition to a person of color) has caused the sexism as well to be increasingly overt -- Republicans are now clearly playing to sexist men in addition to their overt racism.
