@cafkafk Add to that that POSIX is just a standard, it would look rather weird if we put it in the name. I keep thinking what makes an operating system work fundamentally differently from others. Is it the C library? Is it the userland? Is it the runtime environment? Curiously enough, Android has a different C library and runs inside a Java runtime environment but still apparently uses Busybox, the very userland Alpine uses. Interesting…
