It’s very possible that the US left is further left and more collectivist than Scandinavia. Actually, I come across Americans all of the time that believe Scandinavia is an example of socialism working. But in reality I don’t think Scandinavia is as left as they dream in their heads. They like the social programs but they want control over the distribution of wealth and the economy also and that failed decades ago in Scandinavia, right?
