I find the computerisation of cars frustrating because there is a world of difference between "modern ECU which has a lot of desirable safety features & makes engine diagnostics easy" vs "modern ECU which will put your car into limp mode for no apparent reason and you need propriety OBD2 terminal from the manufacturer to diagnose anything". Oh, and lets not forget "my car has an iPad in the middle that controls everything and sells my information to insurance companies".

I'm glad things like OpenPilot by comma.ai exist, but that doesn't solve the absolute privacy invasive hell that the modern car is.
