ChancerubbageI had been toying with Garmin GPS since the late 90s. I recall renting a GPS with a rental car out of town around 2009; it was nearly unusable. I’m not certain how robust Maps was on the iPhone yet I had an open 3G or 3GS at the time, that was the first iPhone with aGPS, I may have fallen back on that.
