    @lumi@snug.moe For some they seem to heavily focus on E2E like that is some sort of endgoal.

    Personally I see E2E encryption as a bandaid fix for platforms you don't trust.

    Consider you're talking to a friend through a server that you trust, you no longer need E2E encryption. Regular server-client encryption is good enough at that point.
