Italians know how to make a pretty car that goes fast, but not much else. If you want excellent engineering, tap the Germans, but their automotive industry doesn't reign in the autism of their engineers because it makes their cars harder to work on yourself and turns vehicles into lucrative revenue streams for years to come.
