Eugen Rochko@jgobble @peachfront The Mastodon trending hashtag algorithm is not well suited for multi-day events. It looks at how many times a hashtag has been used today compared to the previous day, so if the hashtag is used consistently over the course of multiple days it will not come up as trending. There isn't a quick fix for this, but I'll raise it internally.
